A timely topic
Love Letter From Thomas Jefferson penned on July 2, 1801 and
recently discovered in the Hollingsworth House emphasizes the
importance of the separation of Church and State and the sanctity of the
Constitution has been set to music by composer JJ Hollingsworth.
"... I rejoice too with you in the happy consequences of our revolution, namely
our separation from the bloody horrors which are depopulating the other
quarters of the earth...and we hope the day is far off when evils beyond the
reach of constitutional correction, and more intolerable than their remedies in
the judgement of the nation.... may our country ever remain....

Brothers Garah and Greg Landes comprise the piano/percussion duo Synchronicity. On tour
from New York, Greg and Garah have performed and entertained at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln
Center, Symphony Space, Alice Tully Hall, and on and off Broadway. Program includes works
by Bartok, Leonard Bernstein, Garah Landes, Richard Michael, John Psathas, and the world
premiere of "A Love Letter from Thomas Jefferson" by JJ Hollingsworth. Soprano Ellen St.
Thomas will perform the text of this letter.
